Who or what got you
As a young child my dad taught me how to safely handle and shoot a gun.
First or favorite gun?
My 1911 Kimber .45 compact is my favorite gun. I can use it for concealed carry as well as hunting.
What is your favorite
gun accessory? Why?
My favorite gun accessory is my Zeiss Conquest variable scope.
Favorite place to
shoot or hunt?
I always enjoy shooting at new ranges, but the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico, is my absolute favorite range! Where to hunt? Anywhere and everywhere!
I have been a representative for Prois hunting apparel for over three years. I sell and represent its products and am now on its elite Field Staff. It is serious hunting apparel for real lady hunters. It is my favorite because it is high quality, durable, functional, and fits my curves well.
I own an outfitting company so I guide, which also means I hunt with LOTS of different people. My favorite people to hunt with are the kids and first time lady hunters!!! I strive to share the passion of hunting, shooting and the outdoors with others.
My best shooting and hunting memory was a rifle elk hunt a few years back. A bull elk in rut nearly mowed me down. It was “he or I” and I happened to have a Winchester .270. The harvest will remain a highlight in my adventures for the rest of my life!
I own a gun because:
I enjoy shooting. It is my Second Amendment right. I acquire food for my family with it. I use it to teach new shooters about firearm safety. I am a firearm collector.
How do you feel about
I am not into pink.
Do you go to the range to amp up or chill
I go to the range to sight in, to hone my skills, and to teach others.
Best gun tip?
ALWAYS KEEP YOUR GUN POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
Guns or shoes?
Who or what inspires
Children inspire me. They are a blank slate and eagerly listen to what you are teaching. It is important to teach them properly.
My theme song is:
“Dragula” by Rob Zombie
On top of a mountain
I always consider it a great accomplishment when I can help a lady who is terrified of firearms overcome her fear. It is a joy to certify them in shooting and see them move on. Another great for me is working with a child to spot, stalk, sit, be quiet, tremble with excitement as a strutting tom comes in, line up their shot, and harvest a bird for their first time.
