Who or what got you into shooting?

Well I was only 14 at the time and my dad's buddy had a gun. My dad asked me if I wanted to shoot it and I said oh yeah. I had been playing Call of Duty for about 18 months and was curious about real guns...

Do you shoot handguns, shotguns, rifles or all of the above?

I shoot anything. That's a dumb question! :)

Why are you involved with the NRA or how do you support their efforts?

I do my best to support the NRA's efforts by spreading the word about guns and promote safe ownership.

Tell us about the first gun you owned or your favorite gun.

My favorite gun would have to be my dad's buddy's gun. It was a .45 ACP handgun. The thing is HUGE! But I loved shooting it nonetheless. The first shot I took hurt my hand and I started laughing my head off!!!!

What's your current go-to gun?

I currently don't own one but if I could afford it I would have an AR-15, AK-47 and 9mm pistol handy, just incase.

What's your favorite shooting range or place to hunt?

It would have to be McMiller Sports Center, which initially I thought was an actual sports place, not a gun range...haha.

Do you have a favorite accessory or clothing item you won't go shooting or hunting without? What makes it so important?

I have a T-shirt that says Livin For the Weekend Las Vegas on it and a pair of revolver earrings. I can't shoot without them, otherwise it's no fun at all. I gotta be in my character!

What's your best or most memorable moment as it relates to firearms?

It would have to be my first time with my dad's buddy's .45 ACP. I keep mentioning it because it is so significant! That is what truly got me to shoot. If I hadn't shot that gun...I wouldn't be writing about it on this page today. I'd like to share two moments. The other is when I got to try out a 30-30 rifle...I felt like I was gonna get knocked out of the chair!!!!

What's your easiest gun to handle and shoot? Hardest?

I'd say just about anything when I get used to it.

What would be your recommendation for best entry-level gun?

I would highly recommend that any brand new shooter should start on a .22 pistol or rifle. It's a very low recoil caliber to practice on. As the shooter gets better, raise the caliber at their pace.

Your ideal shopping trip: the mall or an outdoor outfitter?

How about a gun store? :)

What do you think is the best home defense — firing or fleeing?

Firing by far, but if you flee to cover that makes sense also.

Who or what inspires you?:

A lot of people...too many to count!

What's your favorite holiday? Why?

Christmas because it's the season of giving!

What do you do to relax and unwind — watch TV, listen to music, go to movies, catch a game, exercise, something else?

Go shooting, duh!!!!

Your greatest accomplishment?

Probably being brave enough to shoot a gun for the first time...
