First or favorite gun?
My favorite gun is my shotgun.

Favorite place to shoot or hunt?
I'm the match director of Rocky Mountain 3-Gun which is held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM, and that's my FAVORITE place to shoot! The natural terrain and wildlife are amazing!

Favorite shooting/hunting partner?
My husband JJ! We met at the Rocky Mountain 3-Gun in 2003. We were both just range officers back then. Now, we run the match!

Best shooting/hunting memory?
In 2005 I was lucky enough to win 3-Gun Nationals, Rocky Mountain 3-Gun, DPMS, Ft. Benning AND got married at USPSA Nationals in Las Vegas, NV!!!

I own a gun because:
I can!!! I enjoy competitive shooting AND I really believe in guns for personal protection. I strongly believe in the 2nd amendment.

How do you feel about pink guns?
Personally, I prefer purple or blue. I have seen some really great pink guns. The only reason I have mostly black guns is that the pink ones tend to look dirty faster! :)

Best gun tip?
Women should go with their instincts. Go to the range and practice.

Your choice of gun for protection?
Home - 12 gauge pump. Out and about - HK USP

Who or what inspires you?
When I give the shooter's briefing for Rocky Mountain 3-Gun and look out on all those people (over 300) that believe in the second amendment and the United States, the Combat Shooting Team from Quantico are raising the flag, and the sun is rising, I get chocked up every year!

What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

Book your reading?
I love murder mysteries and Janet Evanovich.

Favorite TV Show?
Almost anything on the Sci-Fi channel

Favorite vacation spot?
NRA Whittington Center or some other National 3-Gun shoot

Your greatest accomplishment?
Teaching middle school students math for the last 30 years! They've learned math, learned how to learn, and I still love it!
