Who or what got you into shooting?

I am always at home by myself. My husband works evenings. In the towns around us, even the safest towns, People are being robbed and raped. I need to be able to defend myself. (And I like to shoot, I found!)

Wanting to learn how to protect my rights and myself.

Tell us about the first gun you owned or your favorite gun.

My husband bought me my first gun today… a Bersa Thunder .380.

What's your current go-to gun?

It will be my Bersa.

What's your favorite shooting range or place to hunt?


Do you have a favorite accessory or clothing item you won't go shooting or hunting without? What makes it so important?

My glasses and ear protection. 

What's your best or most memorable moment as it relates to firearms?

The first time I shot. It was a feeling of freedom. (I guess that’s the way to say it)

The worst, "don't get a gun, they are dangerous"

What's your easiest gun to handle and shoot? Hardest?

I have only shot 3 recently... Ruger SR, 357, 38 Special. The Ruger was easiest, hardest was 357.

What would be your recommendation for best entry-level gun?

A 9mm.

Your ideal shopping trip: the mall or an outdoor outfitter?

Outdoor Outfitter.

What do you think is the best home defense ‹ firing or fleeing?

Firing if I can't flee. 

Who or what inspires you?

The safety of my family.

What's your favorite holiday? Why?

Christmas, all of my family is close and we celebrate Christ.

What do you do to relax and unwind ‹ watch TV, listen to music, go to movies, catch a game, exercise, something else?

Read or use the computer.

Your greatest accomplishment?

My children.
