Susan Kriley is an avid cook and baker, a career woman who worked her way up through the family candy business from the factory to the executive office. She never had any particular experience with guns, but once she found the time for romance, the rest followed.
Her husband Don, an enthusiastic hunter and shooter, asked her to accompany him on a trap shoot, and she discovered a natural aptitude with a shotgun. On a later trip to South Africa, she learned how to shoot a rifle and the trip awakened a love for hunting. When she took the logical next step to master the pistol and apply for a concealed-carry permit, she passed her test with flying colors.
Her story shows how even someone unfamiliar with guns can learn not just to shoot, but to excel at it.
Susan Kriley knew nothing about guns before she married a hunter, but she soon found herself becoming proficient in several shooting disciplines.
