Shooting for Gold • The Kim Rhode Story

Armed & Fabulous

At the age of 17, Kim Rhode won her first gold medal at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta—she went on to win another at the 2004 Olympics in Athens as well as bronze medals in Sydney and Beijing in 2000 and 2008 respectively.

But despite her outstanding career as one of the greatest shooting sportswomen of all time, Kim remains down to earth with a wide range of interests, from book collecting, to cars, to cooking, to hunting.

As she prepares to win her fifth consecutive medal in the London 2012 Olympics, Kim reminisces about the road that lead her here—and what is next on the horizon.

Kim Rhode was already called "the most successful shotgun shooter of all time," but that didn't stop her from winning a fifth Olympic medal.
